Statistics - Marble Ramps

Today we looked at how marbles roll down ramps. We discovered many ways that the marble can be made to roll further / shorter distances. In groups we experimented with the slope of the ramp, the starting position of the marble, the type of surface to roll the marble across and with using different sized marbles. Next week we will be completing some challenges with our ramps and we will be tallying our results and displaying them as part of our statistics maths unit.
