Olympics Challenge

This term, our inquiry will be based on the olympics. Room 4 are going to be taking part in an olympics challenge where they are given a group task to complete and there will be gold, silver and bronze medalists for each of the group competitions. Many of these challenges are going to be simple science experiments where the children have to work together to come up with the best solution. Today they built paper helicopters and the winners are the groups who can create a helicopter that takes the longest time to hit the ground! Today we built the helicopters and we will have the contest on Monday.
